Broadoak Timber Ltd is a family run business, specialising in the production and sales of oak timber products. With many years experience, we are able to offer an extensive range of high quality Oak timber products, to both the retail and trade markets. Our Oak range includes solid and engineered flooring, skirting boards, doors, architraves, green beams and joinery timbers. We have also recently launched into the machining and supply of Firewood and Wood Chip.
The range of Solid Oak Flooring, which we supply is available in three grades, these are Select, Character and Rustic. Within these grades we offer a product to suit all individual requirements, whether you have a more traditional property or a modern property we have a product to suit the property. Each floorboard is tongue and grooved on all four sides and stress grooved on the underside. We offer Solid Oak Flooring in a range of widths from 110mm to 200mm and we also specialise in wide oak flooring, of widths from 220mm to 260mm.
Our Engineered Oak Flooring is a top quality and very high spec engineered floorboard. Engineered Oak flooring has many advantages over solid oak flooring, as it eliminates many of the problems, which can be experienced with solid oak flooring. Our engineered floor boards are tongue and grooved on all four sides. We offer the engineered oak flooring in widths from 120mm to 200mm and we also specialise in wider widths from 220mm to 260mm.
We supply a full range of joinery timbers and beams to suit all requirements, from that of a diy enthusiast to that of a tradesman. We offer joinery timbers in Oak, Larch and Ash and we offer beams in Oak and Larch. We can supply joinery in square edged or waney edged to suit individual requirements. We have our own sawmill at our Welshpool base, where we saw large quantities of green beams, these are all sawn to the required size.
We supply Kiln Dried, Seasoned and Fresh cut firewood and we also supply seasoned and fresh cut wood chip for biomass boilers and general purposes. We supply to trade customers nationwide and we supply to retail customers within a 20 mile radius of Welshpool.
The Jones family, which run Broadoak Timber Ltd have many years experience of working with all aspects of timber products, from the felling of trees to machining the timber and to finally fitting the finished product. The knowledge, advice and service that we offer is therefore second to none.
We source our timber products from the UK, Ukraine, France & Germany. The director of Broadoak Timber Ltd, Mick Jones regulary visits the factory in the Ukraine to monitor quality and production, we therefore have full control over the quality and production of the products. At the Ukraine factory we we have a kilning facility, sawmill and flooring production line, which allows us to control the whole process from the fallen tree to the finished product. We also visit our suppliers in France and Germany on a regular basis to monitor the quality of the joinery timber we purchase. We have started to add more focus to home grown timbers, Larch & Ash, we saw and kiln these at our Welshpool Sawmill.
